Several dozen residents and medical students from around the country were invited to the Telluride Patient Safety Roundtables and Summer Camps in Colorado to focus on this year’s theme: “The Power of Change Agents: Teaching Caregivers Effective Communication Skills to Overcome the Multiple Barriers to Patient Safety and Transparency.”  Each student is receiving a copy of Goal Play! as part of their course materials.  The leadership lessons from the book, especially those based on process improvement experiences in the health care setting, are a great complement to the lectures, discussions, simulations, and other written material offered to the attendees.
